Help ive just bought red currant, blackcurrant and gooseberry bushes

How do i look after them? Do i keep them in pots for a while or can i plant them out? will they grow better in post or in the ground?
Do i need to feed them and if so what...
Sorry for all the questions...never had fruit bushes before.

Hi Mariell. If these are pot grown I would plant them out. As long as you take all the compost from the pot with them you will be OK. They probably won't fruit this year anyway so there is no real rush. I feed mine by putting bonemeal in the initial planting hole and then sprinkle chicken pellets in and round the soil. Growmore should be fine too.
