Blueberry and Bay dying ?

Hi guys, been a while since I posted here.

I have a Blueberry which I got about 4yrs ago when I first subscribed to GYO. It's need gereat and every year it's produced a bit more fruit. However, this year it failed to properly flower and now the leaves have gone brown ?

I've also got a bay tree which seems to be suffering the same problem.

Both are pot planted, the bay is probalby 10-12yrs old.

Can anyone suggest what the problem might be? Is there a solution.

The bay tree just looks like the cold weather got to it over the winter. Don't know much about blueberries though....

I have 2 blueberry bushes - both bought this year. They are in pots and chunks of both of them have started dying off - exactly like yours. They do have berries swelling on some of the branches, but most of the rest of the plant is dying. Sorry it's not very helpful to you, but I'm really interested in the cause of it! Fingers crossed somebody may be able to shed some light on it!

hmm thanks guys. So do we think there's no hope for either? Nothing I can do?

I'd just cut the worst leave off of the bay and see how it goes. I would think it will improve - have you had new leaves on it this year?

Hey.....WiZer!!!! ..welcome back matey!

I wonder if it was the very cold winter. We had one night of -14C- and both my bay trees are worse than that- although they are pushing through new growth now - bay is only hardy to about -12C I think- so mine are lucky to have survived.
Don't know about the blueberry though

I'd spoil them both rotten and see what they do!!
