I'm thinking of buying these, what would I plant them in? Just a big pot? I've seen special "strawberry pots" are these necesaary?

I don't like strawberry pots, the watering is very erratic.
A normal trough is best, if you don't have any actual ground (which is best of all)

i have strawbs in a tyre, in hanging basket, and some in pots....... sitting eating some now!!Comment

ive got mine in a bag of compost with 12 holes cut in the top, they seem to be doing quite well.......after the growing season im going to plant 6 out in the raised bed and 6 in a trough i bought from wilkinsons for a £1.99
