  • strawberry netting

I have my strawberry plants under netting. They all have strawberries growing on them. My question is, are the strawberries I can see the only ones or will more come along later...and if so how will they get pollinated if they are under net? both stupid questions no doubt

i presume your netting is for the birds so as long as there is sufficent space for flying insects to get through the mesh you should be ok

make sure the netting is well above the fruit and quite taut because clever blackbirds weigh the netting down and pick the fruit while they sit on top

depending on your variety you may get a second flush of strawbs

hmmm not sure it's big enough for a bee...it's the net version of one of those mini poly tunnel thingys...better to risk the birds and let in the bees probably.
