My strawberries have all been brought down by a mystery illness, which was probably something to do with me planting them in the same place strawberries had already been for a few years whoops.
Anyhoo, I need to buy some new ones. I know what I'd like, Marshmello and Mara des bois.
The Marshmello I can't get delivered until September, which is a bit annoying.
But the Mara des bois Ken Muir does frozen plants until the end of July.
What I really want to know is, if I plant these frozen plants in July, instead of normal ones in Autumn, what does this mean to their longevity? Does it wear them out quicker?
