telling currants apart

Hi

Is there anyway to know now which ubshes are red, black and white currants

My labels got sunbleached and I would like to know if there is anyway to know, apart from waiting for fruit!

The blackcurrant should have more fragrant leaves than the other two, these are used by some to make blackcurrant leaf tea. Blackcurrant shoots often grow out of the ground directly as opposed to branching off from the main leg. Red and white currants are identical up to the point of fruit ripening, so you'll have to wait for those.

From one bush , how old is the bush? I use to grow them years ago, well they were already in garden when we moved in and i remember picking them but i was a kid.
