  • Broken branch on plum tree

OK, so I've got a plum tree which has split down the bole and now one of the
smaller branches has fallen off, obviously rotted through.

But, it's smothered in underripe plums which are still hard and quite bitter/sharp.

So any ideas what I may be able to do with them other than burn/compost them?

    Make wine?
Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?

Why are they called apartments when they are all stuck together?

I live ine heart of two of the best wine making areas in the world and have vines, plum wine isn't an option - tho eau de vie may be, will look into that I think

Use them in place of sloes for 'ploe' gin? Try em in chutney? It does seem a waste to just chuck them on a fire...
