I planted raspberry canes on my new allotment, which doesn't have free draining soil but is not totally clay either. i know they like more free draining soil. They don't seem to have done much but more significantly the leaves look red in colour, nothing on them but just reddish some of my strawberry leaves there are also reddish. At home they are fine which has sandy soil.
does anyone know what I can do or whether it is a problem or not?
