Saisburys 250 gm of cherries for £1. 50. That's £6 per kilo - they're a bit cheaper on the market, around £3. 50 per kilo. You'll have to do the conversion to euros if that's what you're using

( not that I'd ever spend that much on cherries!!!...nice though to share them out a bit..I've probably given away about 10kg to friends and neighbours..and munched a few myself !!)

2 years ago we picked 22kg and left at least the same in the tree out of reach!!!!

Birds have only just started to take them- so no netting or anything!!!!

I had hoped this would have been a biennial bumper year- but it's the same as last years crop.
Not bad though eh????

Afraid I don't know- but I'm more than happy to stick stones in the post to peeps if they want!! ( it'll be a French variety)

(They may not come true though as there is a bitter wild cherry tree about 150feet way)
