Spotty Goji Berry

Hi all,

I've got a couple of Goji berry plants - 2 years old - that are struggling slightly in pots. They've developed these rather unattractive raised black spots all over their leaves. Each spot is about 3mm across and 1mm high.

My plan is to move them to the allotment - give them good hard prune and hope they pull through.

Has anyone else got spotty goji plants? What on earth is it?

Right this might help - on closer inspection, its not just a raised black spot on the top of the leaf, but theres's protruding lump underneath the leaf aswell again 3mm dia and about 1mm high - but the underneath lump is brown and not black. These lumps just seem to be filled with fibrous plant tissue... it's most odd.
