Unknown Fruit Tree

I have just moved into a new house and in the garden there is a low growing bush/tree with what looks like apples but there not on stalks and they look like there upside down taken photo's of them to help identify..any help would be greatfull..thanks in advance..glenn

Hi Ixy, I think it might be a quince.

There's a good picture <<HERE>> that looks a bit like yours. There's loads more on t'internet if you google search for quince including a few yummy looking recipes on the Waitrose site.

Look like quince to me too. I have a hooooooge quince tree that is coming down this winter, and the fruit look just like that
