  • Grapevine brown edges, Basil leaves falling off

    Hi Guys,

Recently I purchased a fabric type greenhouse. Its quite high but not very deep. Inside I have a grapevine and some basil. I'm worried i'm watering wrong as the leaves are falling off my basil and the edges of the leaves are turning brwn on the grapevine. I have found the plants stay moist for around a week inside this greenhouse which is strange as the basil used to need watering daily. Does this mean I should water weekly or still water every few days? Also the basil seems to have a dusty mould which climbs the stems and then that stem turns brown and dies.

    Any ideas?

It sounds as tho the basil has one of the mildews, is the greenhouse ventilated?

The same things happening here with my grapevines, it's the time of year that they start to die back and shed their leaves - tho being too humid can also cause them to do that in my experience.

I think that might be my issue. Its like one big closed tent so it would be quite humid. Should I leave the door flap open??
