Pruning new fruit bushes

This has probably been done before but I've been reading loads about pruning and am now thoroughly confused so hope someone can give me some advice.
I got some fruit bushes from Kings in in the autumn and planted them out. I now need to know what to do re pruning them. I've got the following :
10 Rasperry canes (Glen Moy) about 9" high
2 Black currrant (Ben Conan) about 1' high
1 red currant and 1 white currant - I can't remember what name they were though. They too are about 1' high.

I've spent all day digging so am now going to collapse in a corner somewhere.
Mind you it's working off the Christmas pounds.

when you get new growth in the spring you can cut off the old stems at ground level. Tie in the new growth to wires or a frame as these will fruit NEXT year. Next year they will grow even more stems. Once more save thes as they will fruit the following year whilst the stems that grew this year fruit. After fruiting cut down those stems only, leaving the new growth.

Currants,

as they are young plants only take out and dead or damaged branches and prune back any that cross. I would leave them at that for this year.

If they are bare-rooted 2 year-old currants, have a check to see whether they have been cut back. If not, the established orthodoxy is to cut them back by 1/2 on planting (that is not to say it is right).
Stick the cuttings in a trench and you'll have plenty more should any hiccups occur.

Then they must be under 18 or over 50.
