One of our local garden centres is having a big sale this week so I popped out and got a nice 6 foot apple tree (winter gem) for less than £14. Think I'll be back tomorrow for a better look round and see if I can get some fruit bushes. At 40 percent off all trees and plants it's a real bargain so if any grapes are able to get to north/west Cumbria it's the Moota garden centre between Wigton and Cockermouth. BTW this is not an advert but I know most of you can't resist a bargain.

Two Sheds, I have three other apple trees plus there's loads more in the surrounding gardens. I went back today to get a plum tree from the lot that was there yesterday....all gone
but I did manage to grab a gooseberry and a budliea. I know you can't eat those but OH like butterflies.
