  • Kiwi plants leaves shriveling: Please Help!!!

I bought a self fertile kiwi int the beggining of summer and was doin great it was already growing rapidly so iplanted it at the back of my garden against the wall suddenly 3 weeks later leaves wer starting to shrivel, i then waterd it with warm water with vinegar as a guide told me to do and it picke dup however now in atumn its leaves are going back to shriviling and i cant help it. Has anyone exsperienced this or knows how to cure this. Now i hav put it back in the pot but it is not helping

They loose there leaves in winter ( well mine do , not sure if all varietys do ) , so its probably just the cold weather / autumn

I have 3 smaller ones in 10L pots a few stems about 5 foot high, one self fertile and the others a male and female one ( were suposed to be self fertile),
Then ive got another self fertile one in a 100L pot, its a bit large now, taking over! its a weed!, i pruned it last year and the year before and it made new shoots everywere, but i didnt prune it this year (i couldnt be bothered climbing up the house), its grown through a lilac tree, out of the top and it went up and up and then over to the house, and now its upto the roof with about 3 stems twisting onto the drain pipes and gutters, if i get the nerve to climb up early on next year i will trim the ends off to try and make it branch all over the wall, just after i repot it into a 200L pot

I got a few small fruit this year on the large one, but not for long as the squirels stole them, and 50% of the apples, and some lemons ( threw at the house when they tasted them! )

It has to be ok outside all year as they grow them in newzeland and im told it gets quite cold in the winter there

Its not overwatered with the rain is it? If you think its been overwatered, let it dry out and cover the pot with a loose bag to prevent rain getting in, if its very wet already rinse it through with a bucket of water containing a few spoons of hydrogen peroxide ( to add oxygen and kill rot ) , then make sure it drys out well between waterings, they will like very very dry till sudenly they wilt, then water it again , let it get that dry between waterings untill it shows new growth, the winter like most tropical plants it will like to be very dry roots
