Guava question

I have just eaten a guava and potted the seeds, i had done som research on guava and i have seen that their is a particular species Pineapple guava or feijoas that are grown in new zealand and can be grown in uk. They are rumoured to survive down to minus ten so i have ordered some seeds. What do you think about this?

Dont judge a plant by it's pot.
