Are these flowers on my Lemon tree ?

My new lemon I had for xmas started dropping its leaves so put it on a heated propergator base and fed with winter food. Allowed to dry out between watering, in a cool conservatory, leaves have just about stopped dropping.

Are these little flowers coming or new leaves ?

I am just so releaved I havn`t killed it !

Certainly look like flower buds to me!!

They look like flower buds.
They may take a couple of weeks to open though - so don't get impatient.

Even plants that hold their leaves all year round will have seasonal sheddings of some of their leaves.

I always have difficulty telling leaf buds from flower buds on citrus. Wouldn't be too disappointed if they are leaf buds though. You are right, it is happy, either way. Let us know which.

Definately flower buds 3 on one side, on the other branch it looks like a normal growth bud just starting

Now I have loads of beautiful flowers and new leaves.

How do I pollinate as its still inside at the moment ?

to pollinate them take a small paint brush and genty take pollen from the bits surrounding the center and move pollen to the center bit, between flowers, normaly it gets there anyway as they tend to produce lots of pollen and it falls/blows off , but also im pretty sure they dont actualy need pollination they set fruit without, however ,more fruit seems to set with pollination
