Strawberries - Mara des Bois

Hiya all,

Last year I planted a small bed of strawberry plants which did OK, but the season was quite short. I know the yield should be better this year, but I was looking for a way to have strawberries over more than a couple of weeks in summer.

One variety I've come across is Mara des Bois (Ken Muir supplies them here in the UK)

Has anyone out there tried them?

What's the yield like?

What do they taste like?
