Now I know this is a silly question, but are the ornamental crab apples edible? (I mean for making jelly) I think I bought Golden Hornet.

That is not a silly question. If ornamental crabs weren't OK for jams jellies and jars then you could be in deep trouble. Yes Cupcake. Golden Hornet is one of the best.Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
