dont know if any of you remember but i posted back in early feb about my excitment about having got raspberry canes from my brother in laws allotment well .... i am very pleased with picking my first raspberries yesterday (ok it was only 5 but at least its a start ) do i now just feed once a week or is that too often ? oh and they were absolutly yummy didnt even make it into the house yum yum x

No idea what you're supposed to do, I dont do anything to mine except water if its really really dry, although if I do water, its always with a very weak comfrey juice.Bob Leponge

I don't feed mine but mulch round the stems with soggy newspaper and lawn clippings to try and keep the weeds away.S*d the housework I have a lottie to dig

You can over-feed so go careful. I think that where you are that Binley's mulching idea is a good one. Not necessarily to keep the weeds away but to keep moisture in. They don't like it dry.Last edited by sarraceniac; 05-04-2010, 05:23 PM.Why didn't Noah just swat those 2 greenflies?
