I will watch this with interest FB. I have something in full bloom but the label has erased and I have no idea what tree it is

My conference pear is in bloom. Some of the apples are in bud, but they have not even burst open yet.

My Williams pear may be in full flower tomorrow. My Conference pear is a couple of days behind. Both on Quince A rootstock.
My first apple flowers are open, but I'm only talking about a small number of flowers per tree on the earliest-flowering varieties. Not enough to qualify as "full flower" yet.

This may be a wee distraction, FB, but I have been noting which hedgerows have blackthorn in bloom at the moment - about the only time you can identify sloe bushes on a drive by. I've been looking around for a good site to find sloes next autumn - away from heavy traffic pollution - I may have found my spot!!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

My Opal plumb tree that I bought from Tesco last year looks like it will be in full bloom in a few days. It has tons of flower buds on there about to open.

I have remembered! It is my nectarine. It was first to flower last year too going to pop it in the greenhouse tonight as it is due to be a bit chilly here. Thanks for the offer to ID it from a piccy FB.

I have a new damson. At the moment it has 2 flowers breaking. As I have never watched the sequence before I do not know which are emerging flowers or just leaf. Loads of tightly closed leaf buds tho.

My Cherry, sunburst, is a mass of white flower, opened over the weekend, apples just showing a few flowers, plums thinking about it but not doing much at present.

Lots more now in flower and the first ones to flower are beginning to drop some petals as the flowers fade.
