  • Frost effecting blossom

Hi, my blueberry bushes are now in blossom (if thats the right term) and am sure there is a frost due tonight or tomorrow. Will the frost affect them or will they be ok left outside?

    Thanks in advance

They should be fine, but if you are worried cover them with some fleece or newspaper overnight.

        Blueberries in blossom in Yorkshire?

I'm in a warm part of the country where spring comes early, but none of my three blueberries are flowering yet.

I have no idea whether blueberry flowers are frost hardy. But rather than fret about it every year, why not see what happens without protection and you'll then have an answer for future years.
You could also report back on here whether you get a good crop and how severe the frost was. It'd help everyone then.
