Last year I just picked off the affected leaves and still managed to produce my GYO Grapevine award winning Scarey's peaches
This year I sprayed in February but realised too late that I should have sprayed after fruiting in the Autumn too. This year it is back again but I'm hoping it won't be as bad. I will be sure I spray it in the Autumn as well as Spring and hopefully it won't be a problem next year.
A garden is a lovesome thing, God wot! (Thomas Edward Brown)
I (well actually, my peach) got it last year. sprayed immediately with the dreaded Bordeaux mixture and thanked my lucky stars that, whilst I try to be as green as possible, I am not an organic gardener. (Although apparently the powers that be have now said that Bordeaux mixture is organic). Either they have realised that there is no real organic remedy for this 'orrible fungus or they were drunk when they said it.
This year I remembered to spray in March and so far...... No sign.
