Jostaberry as a fan?

I got a jostaberry cutting from someone on here which I'm finally getting round to planting out. I've read variously to treat it like a blackcurrant and grow it as a stooled bush, or like it's other parent the gooseberry and train it as a cordon, bush or fan.

My preference is to train it as a fan alongside the redcurrants, but have read that it'll be too vigourous... so, who's grown one, how did you train it, did it behave? etc

It is very vigorous, 2+ m all round, and I grow mine as a bush, cutting out some of the oldest branches from low down.
