When to feed strawberries

Am i right in thinking you shouldnt feed your strawberries while their flowering and fruit forming.

But i also thought feeding with high potash makes the fruit swell?

Please advice

I never bother to feed strawbs

Mine get the run off from the muck on the Rhubarb in Nov/Dec.

I did feed the strawbs once, but only got loads of runners and not fruit.

I over fed/showed a little kindness to strawberries two years ago then complained on this site that all I got was leaf. All said to treat 'em mean - which I did. Last year I got a bumper crop!

yea well u probably fed them with a high nighs feed. Which is wrong

Mine get some tomato food chucked at 'em when I feed the toms, if I have any left over.
