weevil on blueberry

I just found a really strange weevil on one of my blueberry plants, my camera battery is flat so can't take a picture but this is the closest I can find (it's a lot smaller than it looks in the pic!! - the body is probably only 10-12mm long)


According to ispot, it's some kind of Curculio but I can't find out much about them. It doesn't look like it's done any damage so far but I'm not sure what they do

I've caught it in a tub but just want to find out a bit more before I squish it - anybody else seen one before?

It has a nice smile.

I know they can suffer from a weevil in the states, Never had any problem other than the birds that love the fruit.
