    Confused Blackberry

    Our Loch ness blackberry which we bought at the end of last season has started to flower, theplant itelf isn't very big but has 1 open flower today and quite a few buds about to open, i have double checked online and as i thought it isn't supposed to crop until mid to late august so either the fruits take over months to form and ripen or our bush is cofused by this years weird weather. Anyone else got confused fruit???

      Mine is full of flower too. Both the cultivated and wild kind.
      Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

        Pleased it's not just me that's got them flowering early, strange though because none of the other fruit is early it's all behind even the other 2 different variety blackberries.

          A few hedgerow brambles (blackberries) were flowering when I was out in the countryside a few days ago.
