  • Do gojiberries need to be staked?

i have grown one of these from seed and it is now about 6 inches long. i say 'long' because it is straggling all over the place! Should i be staking it up? and can it leave the safety of the greenhouse yet does anyone know?

I have 2 seedlings at this stage. The plant grows in the wild in the UK and makes a straggly bush. I'm not staking mine - but then, I'm a hard woman!

Yes as they can grow stems over a metre long if you do not prune it.

Very easy to root the cutting and get more plants.

i've grown 3 this year from seed, two are outside and doing ok but are standing on their own, the 1 in the greenhouse is as you described yours - long, leggy and falling over! its twice the size of the others but half the strength.
