  • Strawberry runners

Hi all, sorry I know this has been done to death.

My question is I have my strawberries in some flower pouches and it has masses of runners, I am wandering how I should propogate the runners. I have laid a couple on the grass and have pots either side of them but the rest are on the fence and I am out of ideas on how to do those as Im am running out of space to lay them all down. Any ideas?

Only "do" the runners if you want more plants: otherwise compost them.

I had a spare bed in which I transplanted all of my strawberry plants plus runners into from there planters. When large enough, the runners will be used for next year & the parents will be binned (The parents are 3 years old).
