    i have had a sharron fruit on my allotment for about 5 years is there anyone at all that knows anything about how they grow i have not had a flower or fruit in all this time

    Hello and welcome to the Vine. Could I suggest that you post this question on the Feeling Fruity thread (I think that's what it's called) and then grapes with more knowledge than me can help you?

      Hi Smokey. You don't say where you live but I assume it's in the UK. Sharon fruits (or persimmons) are grown commercially in Israel and California. I found this fact sheet for you, but it looks as if they turn into very large trees if they survive. I should think you have a while to go before (or if) it fruits. http://www.crfg.org/pubs/ff/persimmon.html
