Hiya, what type of tape was used in the video? or what can be used is probably more of an accurate question

I prefer to use masking tape as it is biodegradable & won't contrict the tree. Others use electrical insulation tape, plastic strips , made for the purpose or from freezer bags or you can buy grafting tape. In the old days they used raffia or twine

With masking tape I cover with grafting wax 50/50 beeswax & parrafin wax
