What fertiliser should I use for blueberries in pots (I have them in an acid compost mix)? What should I use for cranberries?
Please can you tell me why I cannot use normal liquid fertiliser?

Your best bet is to use some ericaceous balanced fertiliser as used on heather beds or Azealias/Rhodies etc!

Blueberries and cranberries are both acid-loving plants, as Snadger points out like heathers (hence ericaceous). Ordinary fertiliser does not have the right pH levels and they will not thrive.
