  • Sap is rising

Checked over the fruit on the lottie yesterday and there are definite signs that the sap has started to flow. The cassille had large green buds showing and the honeyberry has a few small leaves that have come out in the last week. Plenty of signs of growth on other fruit as well. Roll on spring.

Yes, my blueberries and Gojiberries have small leaves opening.
The blossom buds on my pears are also noticeably fattening and turning yellow-green. Looks like blossom season culd come early this year (unless we have a late cold spell to slow them down).
A few blossom buds on my apples are beginning to enlarge.

The crocus and snowdrops are flowering - as are the Helleborus.
I even saw a single daffodil in flower recently - at the same time as the snowdrops growing with it!
