  • Fig tree advice

I was given 2 fig trees (well twigs actually!) last February. Both of them have done really well and one of them has about 15 wee baby figs on it.

they wintered in the conservatory (min about 5 degrees) and now they are going outside during the day and back in at night.

i think they both need to go into bigger pots - the ultimate plan is to have them in half barrell planters but i think maybe from the 6/7 inch pots they are in to these would be too much too soon..

    anyone advise me please?

    Yes, try an in-between size.

      Hello all

I haven't been on-line for a while but it is very nice to be back and on such a sunny day too :-)

I too have 3 fig plants going great guns in my conservatory.

I am not potting them on to bigger pots this year, should I feed them now?

They are putting on a massive growth, the figs they had have dropped off , I was surprised to even see the figs in February so wasn't concerned about them dropping.

What should I feed them, when and how often?

      Thanks for your advice
      Helen
