I am in France but the weather is pretty much like the south of England and my strawberries are flowering like mad! They hardly produced anything last year but I put that down to too much feeding. Hope there isn't a last minute frost to knock them down.

Yer think we will be alright this year think we've seen the last of the really cold weather now but hoping for lots of sun shine this year and then will get a really good crop all summer fingers crossed...
Watering strwbs is a little difficult quant it need enuff bt not to much find it easier to water early morning and let the sun shine burn of the extra... Find also a good feed of bone meal and every to weeks a feed high in potassium really helps the fruiting ...wish you the best of luck for this year!!!!

Yes! I'm in Eastern Scotland and my strawberry plants in our polytunnel have absolutely loads of flowers about to open, can't believe how many - can't wait for the berries! Don't think i've seen the flowers this early before.

You should be OK, your last frost date is end of March. We usually get one mid-April, so I expect to lose a few strawberry flowers before the end of the month (I still get more fruit than I can eat though)

Strawberry flowers are formed in September regardless of how the weather does at this time of year. Flower buds on mine are just starting to emerge from the crown on my plants. Doesn't appear to be more buds than usual.

Don't leave plants sitting in water, they'll rot
