humm way to early for runners???

including pics have spotted runners on a few plants this morning will remove and let strawbs fruit instead have lots of fruit too.bt confused a little thought it way to early for runners .only growing on the plants i bought from b&q in feb rest are cambridge favs pegasus and elsanta.

Mine ran early last year and year before too. They didn't send any out later on either so had to root the early ones.

I need to cut them off on mine too - one of those jobs I will 'mean to do' for ages - and forget

Really mine were late august last year .don't want these to run as there new plants want them to consatrate on fruiting might pot the runners on the older plants if they start to run just in case thanks

Just started getting runners on a few of mine - I think they're the Honeoye (or however you spell it!) ones
