  • Victora Plum Tree

I planted a Victoria plum tree last Dec or Jan, It's growing quite well but there are shoots growing from the bottom of the Trunk. Is this normal? Should they be nipped off or left to grow. Any advice on a new Tree would be most welcome. Also the trunk is very, very thin will it plump out. Thanks a lot.

Remove the shoots at the bottom of the trunk as they are probably from the rootstock and not the victoria plum.
