  • Rhubarb poor show

Hi all, I am growing a rhubarb plant in a very large tub. Last year was it's first year and gave off a lovely lot of fruit with large leaves, and I did as I was advised by not picking the fruit as it was the plants' first year. However, this year so far I have managed to only pick two stems and now there is hardly any growth showing. Is it still too early for any decent rhubarb or should I be doing something to help it along?
    Thanks for advice.

Rhubarb need lots of water so since it is in a pot and more likely to dry out, I'd give it a good soaking every day

Keep it well watered and fed and best in the ground if you are able.

Thanks for advice everyone, I will increase the watering - I was more afriad of over-watering it as it's in a pot!
