Does anyone else grow an ebony blackcurrant?
I got one as the catalogue said they were the sweetest for eating fresh (I can't stand cooked fruit!) this is the first time it's fruited - I tried some that looked ripe (black on the outside - green on the inside, not sure if that's ripe or not) and I swear they taste of chicken. They're really not pleasant, just wondered if I've tried them too early or if this is the best they're going to get
