So, I recently discovered Physalis in the supermarket and have sown the seeds, mostly just out of an obsession with planting seeds. Now they're all germinating I'm wondering what I'm going to do with them. Is there any chance of getting any fruit this year from them, perhaps if I bring them into my conservatory before the last frost or should I just overwinter the most prolific one for next season, maybe taking cuttings?

I remember planting the wrong type of Physalis years ago, thinking they were Cape Gooseberries. They fruited very well, but tasted........Comment

Haha, oh dear.. Luckily for me I took the seeds from supermarket Physalis so I know what they taste like!
I think I may have several hundred seedlings, I went a little overboard.
