    Hopefully appropriate to mark here the recent death of Ken Muir, aged 85, whose name to many will be synonymous with GYO fruit growing.... RIP.

              Ken Muir 1925-2011

              Hi All,

              Very sad to loose my Grandad Ken recently.

              I've edited together a short interview from BBC Radio Essex when he officially retired in 2001.

                    anyone of my age will have started out seeing ken muir as a trailblazer,i remember seeing items on him and reading the advice he sometimes gave,we have lost a good one.....
