What size is your ideal fruit tree?

What is the approximate height or spread of fruit tree that best suits your needs?
I particularly mean: apples, cherries, pears and plums.

Personally - I like medium sized fruit trees (well what I'd class as a medium sized tree) so have voted for 13' bush - but also my garden would be too small to have more than 2/3 of those in, so have voted for the 7' cordons too, as I could have a few more of those in
