Hi there, after the success of my blueberry bush (the results will be shown on my blog, the link to which can be found in my signature beneath) I have decided to potentially expand into another avenue of fruit trees: grapes.
I am, however, looking for the following qualities in a grape vine and need help to identify these properties:
I can appreciate this is a large list, but my main concerns are vigorous growth, tolerance to temperature and seedless.
Vigorous growth, as I am wanting to grow it up and along the side of the house.
Tolerance to low temperatures - East Midlands weather in winter = cold.
Seedless, I dislike seeds in grapes.
Thanks for any and all advice, please feel free to contribute your own experiences and tips which are beneficial. If anyone could point me to some good advice on the internet for what needs to be done to prepare the area for good growth, or any general tips, I'll be most appreciative.
Thanks,
Chris.

- Seedless
- Eating, not wine making.
- Purple in colour
- Vigorous vertical growth (i.e. able to grow to 8 foot and then branch out horizontal arms)
- Tolerance to temperatures typical of cold UK winters
- High Yielding and of sweet taste
