White Loganberry?

My FiL swears that his Father had one on his allotment, and he used to eat them, when he was a boy.

I would like to buy him one, if there is such a thing. So far, the world's favourite search engine has let me down..

Sure it wasn't a Mulberry? Can't see any reference to white Loganberries but the mulberries do look very similar and there are white varieties available.

Find the secret of the loganberry

I am a 50-year-old man .And I can remember being a young boy Eating guess what White Loganberry I have that many searches and trying to find these Without success Can't even find a picture of one on the Internet In my junior school field, I used to go onto the field, and it was back gardens of houses on the way round. There was this one garden one time of the year Can't even remember the time of the year I've put my hand through the fence And pulled out a white Loganberry The taste was so nice, I used to sit there untill my belly was full And it's a funny old thing because I've been looking myself on the Internet it's not even a picture of them are i was never clever at school with the days of the months and that, but i always knew when the loganberrys would sprout, they do exist and if someone could find them please let me know I would love to order some or even put bushes out my back garden my wife and kids are probably thinking I'm bonkers but please do not give in on this search.

I think you can get a whitish rspberry and as far as i know a loganberry is a Raspberry/Blackberry cross, so its within the realms of possibility!

I know there are white mulberries - in Crete they use the fruit to make mouroraki (?sp) - the local firewater.
Loganberries would be spiny canes and mulberries are bushes/trees. Quite different.

It is definately a bush,like a blackberry bush.I have been puzzled about this myself,but its no dream.They did exist,cant believe nobidy of heard of them.I will be doing alot of research myself.If i'm up that way where they were,i will be having a look the problem is things change so much,whether its there or not will have a look.

If it's a bush, it sounds like white Mulberry as Loganberry's grow on canes.

Ive tried to attach pictures not sure if they've shown up, they seem a lot whiter tham the ones in the pictures

They look like yellow Raspberries.

I think the more sun they get the more yellow they tend to be. Mine were in the shade this year and were really pale. It could just be a one off though
