I'm adding one more apple tree ('Reinette Dubois'), two apricots ('Tomcot' and 'Kuresia'), two peaches ('Avalon Pride' and 'Benedict'), an Almond ('Robijn'), a Quince ('Vranja'), two nashi-pears ('Kosui' and 'Nijisseiki') and one Plum ('Reine-Claude Sanguine de Wismes').
The apple tree will be a standard tree, all the others are medium.

The trees are up for delivery next tuesday.

After that, I will no longer add additional fruit trees. Enough is enough, or better, too much is enough.

With some excellent advice from my fellow forum members I've planted 3 new apple trees this year in a space at the bottom of our 120ft garden which I call 'my orchard'. I've planted a Peasgood Nonsuch, Worcester Pearmain and Blenheim Orange. I'm determined not to use any chemicals but be entirely organic and create a habitat for birds and insects - as well as getting some lovely fruit.

Anyone looking for a good grower should try Ashridge Trees - excellent service and stock.

Hello busylizzy - and welcome. I'm not a Fruit expert but you would have been better to have started a new thread with your question rather than tacking it onto this one which is an old GYO Mag question. Perhaps one of the Mods will move it for you.
Where do you live as the weather may have had some effect on your pears last year. - I didn't have a single pear and I have several trees that normally fruit well.

I've got three apple trees ordered for this autumn - Dabinett, Tom Putt, and Ribston Pippin. My five-year-old Bramley, which, as explained elsewhere, is in my garden under false pretences - it was supposed to be Brownlees' Russet - is being removed to make room for one of them, but I will hopefully transfer it elsewhere - it's probably still young enough to be successfully transferred - rather than simply chucked out. I may put it on my allotment, but I'm not sure there'll be space, as it's on MM106.
