  • raspberry canes

    i have some raspberry canes growing in big pots at home ,,i want to transfer them to my plot ,,can i do it now or am i better off waiting till they have stopped fruiting

    They should be ok if thoroughly watered in but to be on the safe side, I'd personally wait until after they have finished fruiting. I wouldn't want to lose a single berry in transit.

      I'd agree with Aberdeenplotter. Just remember that when you do transfer them that Raspberries are very invasive and will do their very best to go where you don't want them to so try to keep them contained in some way whey you do put them on your plot.
