Damson recipes

Hi,
I am not too good in the garden - most things happen in tubs but again I have a crop of Damsons in my garden and I am looking for ideas of what to do with them - anything considered - but I don't like jam???

Damson Gin? I've added a splash of Whiskey to my damson jam - gives it a bit of a kick, then you get the sweetness and tartness come through.

Yes, Damson Gin seems to be the one other people have said - I have a bumper crop again and although I would love the gin - I was being very mumsy and trying to get them tempting for the children too.

It's got to be said, with plums, damsons and sloes, once you've done the jam, gin, and pies, there's really precious little else you can do with the overfruiting things, is there?

OK Bins, I stand well and truly corrected, and I shall be off out tomorrow to strip the trees. Definitely going to try the sticky damson pudding, and the damson and almond tart thingy!
