  • Autumn bliss......pruning?

I have a couple of Autumn bliss canes which i bought and planted a couple of months ago, my question is should i prune these? Should i be cutting them right back or leaving alone for the time being?

You're supposed to prune them to ground level at planting time, the idea being that the plant puts its energy into making roots instead of wasting it on sustaining the existing canes

I prune all my (autumn) rasps at the end of Feb (I leave them to stand over winter because they act as windbreaks for the rest of the plot and they are full of hibernating ladybirds too).
