  • Root Control Bags - Minarette Trees

I will soon be planting 4 lovely minarette trees, and it crossed my mind about planting them in root control bags - for the sole reason that if we move then perhaps I could take the trees with me. Anyone tried these root control bags? would they work well with minarette trees?

No, but I do have two trees and several grasses in my garden that I've planted in buckets sunk into the soil, to control their growth.

why don't you consider air pots. They were specifically designed with trees in mind

Thanks for the advice.! I'm told that root control bags/pots etc are popular with people on allotments and those who might move home so I will be using them. Just cant bear the thought of buying and nurturing lovely fruitful trees and then having to leave them!
