Fruit for Roof Terrace Pots?

Small dwarfing trees in pots would definately fit in that wapping great space you call a "balcony" ()

I guess it should be called a "Roof Terrace" not a balcony lol.

I love cherry's but do people have success with them? are they easy to grow and could someone recommend a good company that does good Dwarf Trees.

A friend used to have a Stella cherry in a pot for years -then she passed it to me to plant out in the garden. She was happy picking cherries from it - although I've had very few since its been in the ground. I blame the birds here!

rhubarb and gooseberries will grow in pots mmmm...crumble!

I suppose what you are doing is also stocking up with plants to instantly create a fruit and veg plot when you move? Good idea as many plants take a while to establish.

Oh gosh- I've just noticed that no one has mentioned currants!...you can get those well established in pots!

ouch ouch ouch you are going to bankrupt me.. haha. I am buying too much for the growing. and defo a drip feeder would be beneficial, and also an auto opener for the door of my blowaway, haha and wow so much I could buy.

Not sure if I will get a dribble feeder, and never even thought about currants, not really a fruit I use normally, but I do enjoy just eating them.
Was looking at auto feeders the other day, but all my taps are indoors.
LOL @ dribble feeder, not many results in google for that, but any recommendation on a good quality cheap drip feeder?

Would love to, but do not think the landlord or neighbours would approve haha. If I owned the place, I have always wanted to lay it with that fake grass!!! would be sooo cool! haha
